What was your favourite type of sweet growing up?
Sweet and tangy Pineapple Cubes were always my first choice growing up.
Who did you most admire as a child and why?
When I was a child, I really looked up to my Dad. He’s always been such an inspiration, a hard worker and a font of all knowledge.
How would you define “success”?
In my private life, I’d say being happy is your best measure of success. However, in my business life I never know when to stop, there’s always more we can do. Do entrepreneurs really ever see themselves as successful, or is it a job never finished?
What is your favourite way to spend a Sunday morning?
It has to be a walk along the beach with an ice cream. Especially, when the weather is nice, like it has been recently.
What was the last film or series you watched?
Covert Affairs.
Which country would you like to visit next and why?
There are so many places I would like to visit. However, I think going to Japan during Cherry Blossom season is definitely at the top of my bucket list.
When eating out, would you rather have a starter or a dessert?
I try to have neither – I just go for a nice main course and that usually fills me up.
Name 3 things that make you happy.
Family, work and good food.
Who is your favourite film/series character and why?
I recently watched the film Hidden Figures on Amazon Prime and was really inspired by the women in it.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years’ time?
I don’t really think that far ahead. I like to keep things simple and just focus on what’s in front of me. I just want to make a difference where I can and hopefully have a positive impact on the people around me.
