WDS records successful interpack appearance

This year’s interpack (4-10 May in Düsseldorf, Germany) was extremely successful, reports Winkler und Dünnebier Süßwarenmaschinen GmbH (WDS). Under their motto ‘WDS – Home of Confectionery Diversity: Production Lines for all Capacity Requirements’ a number of valuable contacts were made.

“We recorded a large number of both announced and spontaneous visits from national and international customers and interested parties each day. Concrete business deals were already concluded during the trade fair itself and a large number were initiated – the task now is to follow up and process these promptly after the event,” said Ralf Hübner, Head of Sales, WDS.

The concept of the company’s largest trade fair appearance in its history to date was oriented towards the concrete needs of customers and the market. As a result, WDS featured plants that open up customised production possibilities for confectionery manufacturers and for those aspiring to become.

From the latest generation of WDS laboratory depositors to the ConfecECO as an entry into series production, the high-performance ConfecPRO system and the innovative, chainless ConfecVARIO machine concept, WDS exhibited flexible solutions for a wide range of confectionery products. There was also a strong focus on services and digitalisation options to provide customers with ongoing support beyond purchasing equipment.

“interpack provided the ideal environment to present the latest WDS developments in the field of confectionery machines live to our customers,” explained Carsten Butz, Technical Manager at WDS. “Our ConfecECO, ConfecVARIO and ConfecPRO plant types not only give our customers the ability to manufacture chocolate or jelly products, they’re also available as qualified production plants to meet customer requirements for OTC confectionery. Providing the systematic service concept LifeCycleCare and digitalisation solutions such as SweetConnect, WDS plants are a long-term investment in the future.”

The WDS team would like to thank all customers, partners and visitors for their visit to interpack 2023 and what was a lively echange of experiences.

“The personal discussions were a very great added value for our company,” said a delighted Jessica Runkel, Managing Director of WDS. “We hope that the trade fair was as interesting and informative for all visitors as it was for us as exhibitors. Once again, we have seen that personal contact is the foundation for good cooperation, especially when it comes to successfully initiating and implementing projects together.”
