Winkler und Dünnebier Süßwarenmaschinen (‘WDS’) at ProSweets Cologne 2024 will present the diversity and flexibility of its depositing systems and the benefits of SweetConnect at their Stand B050 in Hall 10.1

Winkler und Dünnebier Süßwarenmaschinen GmbH (WDS) is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of confectionery machines and covers the entire spectrum of moulded confectionery products with a wide variety of applications and capabilities. The WDS division sweetOTC has also established itself as a specialist in technologies for the production of active OTC confectionery, supplements and nutraceuticals.

The company is pleased to be returning to ProSweets in 2024 in Cologne (28-31 January). The main topics in Hall 10.1, Booth B050 will be classic WDS depositing technologies as well as further developments in hygiene for sensitive application areas. As part of the SweetConnect partner network, WDS will also be demonstrating how the confectionery industry is being networked and digitalised across manufacturers.

What you can expect at the WDS stand

Depositor systems for all depositable and demouldable masses will be presented, reflecting the diversity of WDS plants. From the laboratory scale to the large-scale plant, WDS offers confectionery machines for all capacity and manufacturing requirements. Especially for the OTC sector, WDS presents depositor systems made of hygienic full stainless steel: a true innovation!

Innovative solutions for the future in the OTC growth market

With its sweetOTC label, WDS is an established supplier in the OTC sector and will be informing customers at ProSweets about complete customised solutions in a GMP-qualified design. This covers the entire value chain, from brainstorming and the development of individual confectionery products to specially adapted production processes.

As a specialised WDS division, sweetOTC focuses on developing new depositing and moulding processes in confectionery production and has been significantly expanded to promote innovation and efficiency.

WDS plants feature consistent hygienic design optimisations that prevent contamination and cross-contamination. Supplemented by risk assessments (FMEA) and a comprehensive qualification concept, the plants are the ideal choice for anyone who would like to exploit the opportunity potential and growth in the area of innovative and alternative dosage forms in confectionery production.

SweetConnect: The partner network for the digitalisation of the confectionery industry.

The confectionery industry is facing multiple challenges that are difficult to overcome by individual companies alone. WDS is a founding member of the multi-vendor SweetConnect initiative, which will present ready-to-use digitisation solutions successfully tested by the industry at ProSweets this year. The innovative digital platform is steadily growing and driving the digitalisation of the confectionery industry.

SweetConnect is an open initiative that offers all interested companies the opportunity to participate and work together to shape the future of the confectionery industry. At the trade fair stand, the team will provide information about how to benefit from SweetConnect as a user or partner.

The WDS team is looking forward to your visit at our stand B050 in Hall 10.1
