At Gulfood this year, IMA will be presenting its latest processing and packaging solutions for the confectionery and snacks market, showcasing high speeds and efficiency
The FTB TL is a compact monobloc top-loading cartoner series that features the widest box size range and product arrangement. With fully servo-driven movement, the FTB TL Series ensures excellent production efficiency, quick size changeover and minimal maintenance requirements.
The modular design allows maximum flexibility, enabling the processing of many different product types and packaging solutions. Products handled by robotic units are packed into minimally sized boxes in order to significantly reduce material consumption and void-fill techniques. Extending the main transport system enables customers to combine different products in the same box or integrate other feeding units (leaflet, interlayer, etc.). All the common closure styles can be handled on the FTB TL Series, including tuck-in and glued flaps, performed on standard cartons and corrugated cardboard. Customised solutions are available on demand.
According to the required machine speed and blanks capacity, the FTB TL Series can be equipped with a single, double or twin double flat blank carton magazine reaching output speeds of up to 200 cartons/minute. It can be equipped also to handle pre-glued cartons. The related forming heads and transport system make use of positive display management, granting carton squareness for the complete process.
