LoeschPack’s LTS-DUO is a new high-performance, two-stage fold-wrapping machine for chocolate bars, developed to combine speed, flexibility, energy efficiency and ease of operation with a strong focus on maximum machine uptime.
Unveiled at interpack 2026, the LTS-DUO builds on decades of LoeschPack experience in two-stage fold wrapping and incorporates insights from hundreds of projects worldwide. The machine is designed to meet the demands of modern confectionery manufacturers that require high output while retaining flexibility across packaging formats and materials.
The LTS-DUO packs up to 275 chocolate bars per minute, positioning it among the highest-performing solutions in its category. Products can be wrapped in an inner layer of paper, aluminium or film, followed by an outer wrap made from paper or cardboard. This flexibility allows manufacturers to adapt the machine to different packaging concepts while maintaining reliable, high-speed performance.
Faster changeovers and easier operation
A major innovation is the use of modern, decentralised servo technology, enabling format changeovers to be completed up to 50% faster and, in some cases, at the push of a button. This simplifies switching between paper and cardboard formats, reduces setup time and helps minimise potential sources of error.
The centrally positioned easyMI operating unit is designed to make interventions more intuitive and ergonomic, while the machine’s consistent balcony design separates the drive area from the product zone. This supports easier cleaning, improved accessibility and straightforward monitoring of product quality.
Extended sealing adjustment options also allow a wide range of packaging materials to be processed efficiently.
Designed to maximise uptime
The LTS-DUO incorporates an innovative infeed concept with integrated 3D inspection to ensure precise product handling while maintaining a reduced machine footprint. An optimised packaging-material magazine provides increased capacity for paper and cardboard labels, simplifying loading and reducing operator intervention.
The redesigned splicing unit allows packaging material to be used right up to the end of the roll, supporting more efficient use of resources. Predictive maintenance features further improve serviceability and help manufacturers reduce unplanned downtime.
