Holly’s Lollies gives retro sweets a gin infusion twist


Holly’s Lollies have released a brand new product which is sure to get tongues wagging, as the company have combined the mass demand for retro sweets and the huge rise in popularity for gin.

Their new Rhubarb and Custard sweets with real gin combine creamy vanilla custard, tart rhubarb gin, and gin itself. The new flavour is specifically tasked with taking customers back to their childhood, but with an alcoholic twist.

At time of writing (29th August 2017), Holly’s Lollies are the only UK retailer to do something like this – where they’ve taken a hard, retro sweet and given it a new lease of life by adding real alcohol.

Despite this, all of Holly’s Lollies’ sweets are handmade in the UK – keeping to their traditionalist values – while using decade-old methods in the process. As well as this, all of the products created are both vegan friendly and allergen free.
