Winkler und Dünnebier Süßwarenmaschinen (WDS) has said they are looking forward to returning to interpack, which is running from 4-10 May in Dusseldorf this year. The slogan for the company this year is, “WDS – Home of Confectionery Diversity: Production lines for all capacity requirements”.
At the trade fair, WDS will present tailor-made production lines from laboratory scale to high-performance plants and demonstrate the trend-setting use of technologies and advantages of production lines for chocolate, gum and jelly, toffee, fondant and hard candy. On display at the event will be the WDS plants ConfecECO and ConfecVARIO which enables the flexible manufacturing of chocolate or jelly products.
The exhibition stand offers plenty of space for the company’s ‘sweetOTC’ division and a new generation of the laboratory depositor that enables product development and production of innovative dosage forms for OTC sweets or supplements. In this area, the company offers its customers complete solutions in a customised design: including brainstorming, developing individual confectionery products, customised production processes, ensuring exact dosing of active ingredients and a comprehensive after-sales service.
Other focal points at interpack will be the ConfecPRO with its modular system concept presented using the depositor sector as an example and the company’s mogul plants, which will be presented in a virtual setting.
ConfecECO is the entry line into serial production, aimed at aspiring companies and smaller manufacturers. In addition to producing chocolate products, the series is also suitable for pectin, toffee and fondant products. The range of products that can be produced on this line includes solid and filled sweets in silicone or polycarbonate moulds. The machine type is also suitable for the production of gum and jelly products with added food supplements.
ConfecVARIO is a new machine concept for the production of products, gum and jelly sweets and OTC sweets. The chainless drive system with switch technology enables maximum flexibility and a variety of new plant layouts. Variable production of different products and masses in different line sections is also possible. At interpack, visitors can experience the advantages for themselves on one configured for chocolate production.
The WDS team is looking forward to the trade fair and invites all customers and visitors to visit its stand in Hall 1, B 66. Appointments can also be arranged in advance using fair-registration@w-u-d.com.
