Promtek Ltd is set to return to the PPMA Show this September, bringing its cutting-edge cloud-based systems back to the spotlight. Following a successful debut last year, the company will be showcasing its advanced technologies.

These systems offer comprehensive solutions for intelligent weighment management, recipe handling, and production monitoring, providing manufacturers with a strategic overview of their entire production process. Promtek’s offerings are designed to simplify the complexities of ingredient reformulations, equipment utilisation, climate impact management, and energy cost reduction.

Condor Cloud™, a cloud-based alternative to traditional IT/OT integration, stands out as an ideal solution for fast-growing SME manufacturers. It eliminates the need for expensive IT infrastructure by offering a browser-based platform that streamlines production facilities, reduces costs, and optimises processes without the hassle of complex software or extensive paper trails.

Promtek’s all-in-one platform is designed to deliver the benefits of large-scale manufacturing systems to smaller operations. By leveraging predefined algorithms, the system accurately calculates energy efficiency, with time-in-motion capabilities that analyse each step of the production process. This allows businesses to reduce production waste and energy usage by fine-tuning equipment settings, significantly lowering energy consumption per tonne.

MicroMan™, Promtek’s hand weighing platform, is another highlight of their product range. It integrates with the company’s signature process control platform, StoraWeigh, and the Condor integration platform to generate bespoke production control and data. This system helps businesses manage recipe control, improve ingredient traceability, prevent cross-contamination, and assist with order scheduling, creating customer-specific trusted records of weights and measurements.

Lani Scholtz, Promtek’s Marketing Manager, expressed the company’s enthusiasm for the upcoming event: “Promtek is thrilled to be heading to the PPMA once again. We are truly excited to showcase our next-level innovations, and as well as this, there’s the opportunity to discuss the customised solutions we can offer, like a system we created in conjunction with Schneider Electric recently based on the Tesys Island.

“By combining our expertise and technology with Schneider’s Tesys, we were able to set up a system where a feed mill’s machinery was completely controlled and monitored via a network connection, without the need for contactors or a costly PLC. We love what we do and we’re looking forward to making some fabulous new connections within the industry.”
