Mars Chocolate Drinks and Treats has announced the release of Mars and Twix Ice Cream Cones, for the first time that the two confectionery brands have been developed into an ice cream cone format.

Across the overall ice cream market, Mars Ice Cream grew by UK£11.5 million in 2022, equating to a 42% share of the total ice cream market growth.

“The brand familiarity and price point of Mars products have really allowed us to solidify our mid-market position, and for some of our core brands like Mars, the appetite for our classic products has still increased by a third,” explained Michelle Frost, General Manager at Mars Chocolate Drinks and Treats. “Developing the Mars and Twix brands into an ice cream cone format was a natural progression to give fans of the brands an alternative format to enjoy.”

The Mars Ice Cream Cone has a blend of dairy ice cream, smooth caramel sauce and real milk chocolate topped with chocolate chips. The Twix Ice Cream Cone is filled with a combination of creamy caramel ice cream with a caramel sauce, wrapped in a wafer cone and topped with crunchy biscuit pieces.

The Mars Ice Cream Cone and Twix Ice Cream Cone will be available as a four pack from March 2023, retailing from UK£3.50.
