Mondelēz International has appointed Clive Jones as President, Northern Europe. Jones will be responsible for Mondelēz International’s businesses in the UK, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark, where Mondelēz manufactures and sells brands including Cadbury, Oreo, Maynards Bassetts, Ritz, belVita, Freia and Maribou.
Jones joined Mondelēz International in 2017 as President, Gum, Candy, Beverages and Meals, Asia Pacific Middle East and Africa (AMEA) and during the past year has driven both market share and growth across 15 different markets. He brings to the role more than 20 years of marketing, brand innovation and general management experience and prior to joining Mondelēz International, spent 16 years at PepsiCo, latterly as Vice President Snacks for Asia Pacific.
Jones replaces Glenn Caton who takes on a new role within the business as President Chocolate, AMEA. Caton joined Mondelēz International in 2013 as Director for the Chocolate Category in the UK and Ireland and, over the last two years, has successfully led the Northern Europe business to continued strong performance.
