WDS announces leadership transition in product technology lab

WDS has announced a significant change within its Product Technology Lab, which has been a key driver of innovation in the confectionery industry for over 25 years.

“For more than 25 years, our Product Technology Lab has specialised in the development of new and optimisation of existing depositing processes, as well as process engineering in confectionery production,” a WDS spokesperson shared.

As part of this evolution, the company is preparing for a major leadership transition. Brack Holger, the long-standing Head of the Product Technology Lab, will be leaving WDS by the end of the year. Holger, whose expertise and dedication have played a crucial role in the company’s development, has been an integral part of the business for many years. “Holger can look back on a long and successful career, and we also have fond memories of many years of good cooperation. Holger was always a competent, passionate and reliable advisor with precise objectives. We will miss his inspiring ideas and positive conversations,” the spokesperson added.

In recognition of Holger’s contributions, WDS emphasised how his “valuable work has enriched and shaped our company for many years.” While his departure will be felt, the company is prepared to ensure a smooth transition.

WDS is pleased to announce that Julian Pieper will step into the role of Head of the Product Technology Lab following Holger’s departure. Pieper, a seasoned professional within the company, has been a key player in the Lab for over a decade, managing numerous projects across the globe. His leadership experience and strong track record of success in overseeing machinery sales position him as the ideal successor.

“We are happy to let you know that Julian Pieper will take over the position as Head of the WDS Product Technology Lab after Holger’s leave. This ensures continuity for our customers and you, our representatives,” WDS stated, expressing confidence in Pieper’s ability to maintain the Lab’s high standards.
