Winkler und Dünnebier Süßwarenmaschinen (WDS), Norevo and D&F Sweets are welcoming industry experts to the 2nd International OTC Symposium, which will take place 16-17 May at the Hotel Quellenhof in Aachen, Germany.
Following the success of the first event which took place in 2022, the symposium promises to offer new insights, trends and experiences. The aim is to combine theory and practice while creating first-class networking opportunities.
The symposium will bring together international experts from the confectionery industry who will share their knowledge, expertise, and in-depth information on the following topics; market development and trends; food law aspects; sustainable sourcing; raw materials and trends in enrichment; product development; processing technology including GMP aspects and packaging technology.
The second day will offer attendees an optional opportunity to deepen the theoretical knowledge through a practical live demonstration in the D&F Sweets laboratory in Aachen. The following topics will be covered; cooking process
- Addition of active ingredients
- Demoulding
- Post-treatment
