Registration for IFE 2023 opens

Visitor registration has now opened for the International Food & Drink Event (IFE) as the event prepares to return to ExCeL London on 20-22 March 2023, connecting retailers, wholesalers and hospitality professionals with suppliers in food and drink.

The show will, once again, take place alongside IFE Manufacturing, as it provides the “ultimate environment” for product developers, packaging designers, ingredient buyers and manufacturers to come together to discover the latest trends and identify business transforming solutions and products. At IFE Manufacturing, visitors can expect to connect with over 150 suppliers from across the food and drink supply chain.

In addition to food and drink from across the UK being exhibited, suppliers representing more than 50 countries are onboard to take part in the March event which includes products from the US, the UAE, Sri Lanka, Mexico, India, and other European nations.

Visitors will be given the opportunity to see and sample products in person, meet the minds behind innovative brands, discover new trends and invest in growing product categories which are expected to shape the future of retail and food and drink manufacturing.

“IFE and IFE Manufacturing are continued evidence of how important the food sector is, and the breadth of ongoing innovation designed to meet future supply chain and environmental needs. The event really pressed home the development happening at pace within the industry and allowed me to speak directly to many companies directly on their key challenges and opportunities,” said James Hague, Relationship Director – Food and Drink Manufacturing at Barcalays.

IFE Manufacturing will be divided into five event sections in order to help buyers find the food and drink products they are looking for – this consists of packaging solutions, ingredients, processing and packaging technology, manufacturing services and technology, which highlights technological solutions to support food and drink manufacturers run processes more smoothly.

A new addition for the 2023 event is the Sustainability Stage, sponsored by Elopak, which will see retailers, industry experts and leaders in the food and drink industry ‘deep diving’ into key issues, from packaging and processing to product sourcing and the way that businesses are run.

It will also feature the all-new Startup Market, featuring some of the existing and up-and-coming businesses from the show, as well as a New Product Tasting theatre, to give distributors and suppliers the chance to showcase their products and provide samples for buyers attending the event.

The Trends & Innovation Platform will see leading figures in the food and drink retail and manufacturing space share their expertise, insight and strategies with regards to future business growth and enhancing the consumer experience, in light of the fact that trends and consumer behaviours are responsible for driving businesses forward and it is thanks to innovation in technology, ingredients and processing that businesses can develop.

“IFE and IFE Manufacturing bring together a stellar range of events and speakers to showcase the opportunities and challenges across our sector. With such a vast range of companies and products on show, it’s the perfect chance to build the networks and find the leads to grow your business,” commented Caroline Keohane, Head of Industry Growth at FDF.

“The FWD is delighted to be partnering with IFE once again for 2023. The event is a fantastic opportunity for our members to check out new and exciting products in the world of food and drink and to hear all about the latest industry trends. We can’t wait to attend,” added James Bielby, CEO of the Federation of Wholesale Distributors (FWD).
