As it is well known, interpack 2021, initially planned from February 25 until March 4 2021, was cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic. The international confectionery machine manufacturer Winkler und Dünnebier Süßwarenmaschinen (WDS) has regularly presented new machines, processes and technologies here in recent years. In order to still be present for its customers and other interested parties, the company now invites you to its new digital showroom under the motto “Virtual Experience – WDS in new dimensions”.
Four plant types are presented virtually
WDS plans on presenting a total of four state-of-the-art machines types. The new WDS moulding plant ConfecPRO Type 670 is designed for depositing medium to high production capacities of filled and solid chocolates. The modular, high flexible production line can be designed for one or two lanes, at ground level or over several floors and fulfils highest hygienic requirements.
ConfecVARIO is a new, highly innovative machine concept for the production of chocolate products and confectionery made of gum and jelly. Highlights include the possibility of simultaneous production of different products and masses, the novel, chained-free drive system with individually movable mould carriers and the highly flexible modular structure that enables a variety of different line layouts.
With the Mogul 660, WDS presents an efficient, productive and precise plant type for confectionery production. The Mogul 660 can be used to produce all starch-moulded articles, consisting for example of jelly and gum based on pectin, gum arabic, gelatine, agar-agar, carrageenan as well as liquorice, fondant, cream, foam (marshmallow) or similar. The production of liquer deposited articles is also possible. A wide range of depositing systems – one-stroke, Mono, One-Shot, starlight with filling, etc. – also enables a variety of depositing processes.
Under the new private label sweetOTC, WDS presents itself as a specialist in the development and manufacture of confectionery machines and as one of the leading suppliers of technologies and equipment for the production of actively and effectively OTC confectionery and cannabis products. OTC confectionery products are innovative products that have health-promoting and biologically active characteristics through the addition of various ingredients. The market for these products is relatively young and therefore offers manufacturers a wide range of opportunities and enormous growth potential. Virtual experience
And that’s how it works: To take part in one of the live events, WDS customers and interested parties can obtain more detailed information and the option to register at www.w-u-d.com/virtual. After registration, WDS will send the invitations with the access data for logging in. The participants do not have to install any additional apps or other software, because the live presentation is straightforward in the web browser. Direct questions can be asked via an integrated live chat, which will be discussed together after the presentation. Afterwards, WDS enables an individual appointment to be arranged for a further, individual presentation.
