How did you end up working in this industry?
I was looking at job descriptions as a Director and I already had the idea to change sectors. That’s when I saw the advertisement for this role, which attracted my attention, and decided to apply.
What is your favourite type of sweet?
I love chocolate, of course. But also, I am a fan of jellies and ice-cream.
What other job would you like to do?
If I could choose to change jobs, I would definitely like to do something with chocolate. I would perhaps like to try my hand at being a chocolatier.
What’s your favourite way to spend a Sunday afternoon?
My favourite way to spend a Sunday afternoon is doing some sort of sport, like cycling. And I also enjoy cooking for my family, so perhaps just making them a nice meal.
Name three things you love about the UK
I love many things about the UK and I have even been there on holiday. I really like Cornwall, London and pop music – We actually had tickets to go to a Billy Joel concert but sadly it was cancelled as he was unwell.
Name three things you love about Germany
My family, Bayern Munich and where I come from – it’s a beautiful place between Munich and the Alps.
Which country would you like to visit next if you could go anywhere?
Rwanda, to see the gorillas.
How would your friends and family describe you?
Handsome!
How would you define success?
I think that success is made up from a combination of having financial success, having fun and also by forming and maintaining strong relationships – both personal and professional.
If you could have a superpower, which one would it be?
If I could have any superpower, I’d like to be able to fly, in order to see everything from above and also to just feel free.
What is one hope you have for the next five years?
I would like the good old times to come back.
