What was your favourite type of sweet growing up?
Ice cream. My family used to sit by the patio when it rained and we’d eat chocolate ice cream as we watched the storm.
Who did you most admire as a child and why?
My mom. Cliché, I know. But as a single mom she worked late into the night so I treasured the time I could spend with her. She was tough, but endlessly supportive and loving. Now having her as my boss and CEO at Sow Good is a full-circle moment, and I still treasure seeing her every day!
Can you define success in 3 words?
Value-creation, fulfilment, resilience.
What is your favourite way to spend a Sunday morning?
A workout class, brunch with friends, reading.
What was the last film or series you watched?
Severance! I need season 3 out pronto.
Which country would you like to visit next and why?
I’m visiting Israel soon for one of my best friend’s weddings. I love Tel Aviv and the food! I’m spending a day in Madrid on my return trip—I’ve never been so I can’t wait for the restaurants (I’m very food motivated).
When eating out, would you rather have a starter or a dessert?
Dessert. But why not both?
Name 3 things that make you happy.
Travelling around the world to bring Sow Good to new consumers, laughing with family and friends, and writing.
Who is your favourite sportsperson and why?
Michael Jordan. His work ethic, grit, and competitiveness shaped the game. He’s a successful businessman and paved the way for athletes to build lucrative brands.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years’ time?
At my family’s house for dinner with a family of my own, asking my parents for advice on business ventures I’ve hopefully launched, and being an author of at least one book!
