Custom Flavors has announced that it has hired Scott Nadison as its new company President. Nadison’s hiring caps a record-breaking year of growth for Custom Flavors, which included the opening of a major new production facility in Concord, North Carolina.

“2025 was a milestone year for Custom Flavors that truly set the foundation for our next stage of growth,” said Mike Wendling, Chairman of the Board. “We expanded our footprint, capabilities, and customer base, and now we’re focused on scaling with strong leadership. Scott’s experience, skills, and perspective make him the right person to help us build on this momentum at exactly the right time.”

New Leadership Structure

Custom Flavors’ new leadership structure will allow the company to continue its steady growth without compromising its commitment to delivering exceptional products, service, and support.

“This addition reinforces our plan to scale thoughtfully through new perspectives and expertise to support the next phase of expansion,” said Alex Wendling, CEO. “Our driving principle is to grow in a way that preserves our mission and culture.”

Nadison brings broad experience in the flavour and food industry to his new position as President, having served in leadership roles at Mother Murphy’s Labs, International Flavours and Fragrances, and Symrise. Before joining Custom Flavors, Scott owned and operated a consulting practice focused on providing fractional leadership in the food ingredient industries. A graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder, he has an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
