Cadbury Dairy Milk will be linking forces with Peter Rabbit ahead of film release

In order to celebrate the upcoming release of the Peter Rabbit film – hitting cinema screens on the 16th March 2018 – Mondelēz International​ are rolling out an on-pack promotion offer, which will enable five families to win the chance to score a holiday to the Lake District.

The promotion in question will serve as part of Cadbury’s Easter portfolio, which will have a new Cadbury Dairy Milk Peter Rabbit Easter Egg and Toy pack, which will weigh 72g and be priced at £6.99. This will come with a Cadbury egg as well as either a Peter Rabbit or Flopsy Rabbit toy.

In order to stand a chance of winning, consumers will have to buy any of the promotional products and search for a winning coupon inside.

In addition to the Lake District trip, other prizes include 300 sets of bunny ears, 200 carrot pens and 517 tote bags.

Speaking about the promotion, Hortense Rothenburger – the senior brand manager for Easter at Mondelēz International​ – highlighted the importance of toys at Easter, and said it from a business sense, it’s a great idea.

“Toys are the third biggest gift category after chocolate and flowers at Easter, so we believe we can drive more value to the category with our new NPD,” Rothenburger said. “Retailers should stock up on promotional packs and NPDs across the Easter season to capitalise on excitement around the film and promotional partnership.”

 

As well as this, Peter Rabbit themes POS and display tools will also be available.
