GNT is a global leader in natural, sustainable colouring solutions for confectionery and beyond

Founded in 1978, GNT is a family-owned company pioneering in the creation of plant-based, sustainable ingredients. We are known worldwide for our EXBERRY® brand of natural colouring solutions. Made from non-GMO fruits, vegetables and plants, the colours are used by more than 2,600 food and drink manufacturers in over 75 countries, from major multinationals to small start-ups.

Products

EXBERRY® colours are valued worldwide for their vibrancy, versatility, stability, and ease of use.

The portfolio features more than 400 plant-based shades spanning the whole rainbow, with a vast array of options that support cleaner and clearer labels. They can be used to achieve effective results in almost any food and beverage application, including all types of confectionery, baked goods, and snacks. We supply liquids and powders as well as multiple specialist formats for specific application challenges.

Support

With more than 45 years’ experience using plant-based colours, our experts can provide manufacturers with full support throughout the entire product development process. This includes colour selection and performance, stability testing, concept innovation, regulatory support, upscaling, and quality documentation. Whatever you need, we will identify the optimal solution quickly and effectively to increase your speed to market and save you time and money.

Supplies

As a family-owned company, we are committed to sustainable success and always plan for the long term. This is why we have spent decades building a strong and resilient supply chain that guarantees traceable, high-quality products.

We establish long–term partnerships with farmers to ensure responsible agriculture with consistent results. Our family ownership also gives us the freedom to invest in long-term stockholding. This approach allows us to maintain our supplies – even in the face of global crises and shortages.

Sustainability

Sustainability is a key priority for GNT and we have set out 17 ambitious targets to optimize our environmental and social impacts over the course of the current decade.

Our greenhouse gas figures are independently verified and we offer Product Environmental Footprint information for EXBERRY® products to help brands present sustainability data on their product packaging.

ProSweets 2025

At ProSweets, we will demonstrate how EXBERRY® colours offer a natural and sustainable way to elevate visual appeal in confectionery and snacks.

Visitors will be able to sample a selection of eye-catching EXBERRY® crisps. They can choose from six options featuring seasonings with on-trend flavours as well as bold shades from across the rainbow. In addition, they will be able to view a variety of confectionery samples and see a drink concept that shows how EXBERRY® colours factor into products’ carbon footprint.

Our experts will be available throughout the event to talk to visitors about their individual project requirements, including technical matters and questions regarding sustainability.
