Anyone with a nut allergy or intolerance no longer needs to miss out on delicious chocolate as NOMO has launched the first ever Nut Free Hazelnot Crunch Choc Bar. This comes as welcome news to the 71% of people with a nut allergy who say they often feel left out of social gatherings because of their allergy according to recent research conducted by Kinnerton, the makers of NOMO.

NOMO’s number one mission is to ensure that no one misses out on great tasting chocolate. The new Nut Free Hazelnot Choc Bar has been carefully developed so that all chocolate lovers can enjoy the taste and texture of hazelnuts. Made with crunchy cocoa nibs, rice crispie pieces and natural nut free flavour, the launch of the Nut Free Hazelnot Crunch Choc Bar means that anyone with a dietary intolerance, nut allergy or restriction will never have to miss out on the great taste of nuts ever again.

The ground-breaking Hazelnot Crunch Choc Bar will join the wider NOMO product range and is completely vegan and free from dairy, gluten, eggs and of course, nuts! Absolutely no nuts means that those with a nut allergy can feel reassured, especially the 78% who said that they often avoid food that does not contain nuts because they fear it may do. The free-from sharing block is made from sustainably sourced, quality ingredients, ensuring that all chocolate lovers can enjoy a moment of pure indulgence.

Kinnerton has been synonymous with making chocolate products that are safe for people with nut allergies since 1999. Since its launch, NOMO has become loved by customers and is now the number one free-from brand in the UK.

Emma Perrett, Senior Innovation and Brand Manager of Kinnerton Confectionery said: “Ensuring that no one misses out is the corner stone of our brand and one of the reasons we have gone to such extraordinary lengths to create a Nut Free Hazelnot choc bar. We know that some people can’t enjoy great tasting nut chocolate, and that all consumers should have a variety of choice and flavour at every occasion.

“One of our aims at NOMO is to develop mainstream flavours that we know customers will love regardless of whether they are vegan or have a food allergy and so we are delighted to offer this new delicious nut flavoured, but completely nut free, chocolate to the market.”

Available from Asda for an RRP of £2.00.
