Doisy & Dam, who creates a range of handmade sweet treats right here in the UK using globally sourced ingredients and the highest quality chocolate, is releasing an exclusive range of vegan chocolates based on popular non-vegan chocolates.
Currently rolling out in 790 Holland & Barrett stores across the UK, the Ballers, Buttons and D&Ds are made with 70% cocoa dark chocolate and are also free from palm-oil making them a great option for ethical consumers looking for a treat.
There’s good news for those wanting to limit their sugar intake as the company claims they are “at least 30% lower in sugar than the market-leading product.”
The range includes three products based on nostalgic favourites. Ballers are Malteser-style malted balls covered in single-origin Colombian chocolate, whilst Buttons are a vegan take on Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons.
Perfect for snacking and decorating baked goods, the brightly coloured sugar-coated D&Ds chocolate beans that pay homage to M&Ms.
The new range of chocolates are available in single-serving bags priced at £1.35 for a 30g pack, as well as sharing pouches that will retail at £2.50.
There’s good news for those who miss the delights of Cadbury Mini Eggs as Doisy & Dam will also be launching Mini Egg-styleGood Eggs (£2) in Holland & Barrett stores this Easter.
The new range has been designed to be “a little bit more fun, a little bit more inclusive, and reminiscent of the traditional brands people engage with” according to Doisy & Dam’s co-founder Ed Smith.
Doisy & Dam has said they put a huge amount of care in the quality of ingredients in its chocolate. They believe in a balanced lifestyle, of which treats are one part. They make sure every bar of D&D has a superfood, a unique taste and an irresistible texture. The bars never have more than eight ingredients, minimum 8% superfoods and have a high cocoa content to squeeze out the room for sugar and fat. It’s healthy indulgence at its best.
