A new gift range from Swiss-based manufacturer Lindt & Sprüngli is set to be unveiled at the upcoming Tax Free World Association (TFWA) Asia Pacific Exhibition Conference, which takes place in Singapore.
The event itself takes place between the 6th and 8th of May 2018, and will see Lindt show off their mini pralines, deluxe heart confectionery, and a special edition gift set for the Chinese New Year.
According to Lindt, the 2018 edition of the show will contain news about the Lindor brand, travel retail exclusives, a host of established items, while there will also be some new flavours too.
Recent research undertaken by Lindt has revealed that gifting is hugely important to travelling Asian customers, which has prompted the company to roll out a number of festive gifting options towards the end of the year. This ties in with when the majority of festivities and celebrations in the Asian region occur.
Lindor’s smooth melting chocolate balls are one of the products selected, which have been so popular with Chinese and Asian travellers that Lindt have subsequently launched the 200g deluxe heart.
As well as this, Lindt will show off their 155g mini pralines, which are also available in multipacks of 3x44g. These include 32 chocolates in premium pink and gold designs.
“Travelling can be a special time for close friends and family,” comments Peter Zehnder, head of Lindt and Sprüngli’s global duty free division.
He added: “This is why we are delighted to be able to focus on Asian travellers with some new, innovative flavours and exclusives of our products. A huge goal for us is to drive market share in the Asian region and we feel our new launches do just that.”
