Ishida Europe has announced the promotion of Guy Dix to the position of Technical Director, following nearly two decades of service with the company.
Guy Dix began his journey with Ishida in July 2005 as a Design Engineer. Throughout his tenure, he has steadily advanced his knowledge and leadership capabilities within the organisation. Since March 2022, he has held the role of Engineering General Manager, where he managed all engineering activities for Ishida Europe.
In his new role, Guy will utilise his extensive experience to steer Ishida Europe’s technical strategy and foster ongoing innovation in the company’s solutions.
Commenting on the promotion, Dave Tiso, Managing Director of Ishida Europe, stated, “I am delighted to welcome Guy to our board as Technical Director. Guy’s almost 20 years’ experience at Ishida in key engineering roles, his cross-functional relationships within Ishida Europe, and his drive and energy have placed him very well for this next step in his career.”
Expressing his enthusiasm, Guy Dix said, “I am absolutely thrilled to take up this new position and I look forward to making a significant contribution to the success of Ishida as Technical Director.”
Guy succeeds Seisaku Iwasa, who will be returning to Japan to assume the role of Production Executive Officer. This move is intended to enhance global manufacturing collaboration within the Ishida Group. Seisaku joined Ishida Europe as Technical Director in September 2019 and has served as a vital link between the EMEA region and Japan during his tenure.
