SVX

The Syntegon SVX series represents a new benchmark in vertical packaging, tailored for food and confectionery manufacturers seeking to optimize speed, flexibility, and future-readiness. Designed to handle ever-evolving market demands, the SVX series enables high-speed, high-efficiency packaging within a surprisingly compact footprint. It is engineered as a robust, modular platform, ready to adapt to new bag formats, sustainable materials and tighter quality requirements.

The SVX delivers up to 300 bags per minute while occupying minimal floor space which maximises output per square meter and drives down capital and operating cost per unit. Its patented cross-seal drive system ensures reliable sealing even under stress, making it ideal for flexible films, barrier laminates and next-generation eco-films. The SVX series comes in several variants – SVX Agile, SVX Compact (and Compact Paired), and SVX Duplex – so producers can match the machine to their product mix, speed and space constraints.

The SVX Agile model targets high flexibility and future scalability. It handles bag widths of up to 400 mm, supports gusset and block-bottom, and is built to accommodate future upgrades to corner seal and DoyZip. The SVX Compact is optimised for constrained spaces: with a narrow width (≈ 850 mm), it still sustains full performance and supports multiple bag styles (pillow, gusseted, block-bottom) for widths up to ~ 270 mm. If doubling output is needed, the SVX Compact Paired configuration mirrors two machines side by side to deliver up to 600 bags per minute with efficient maintenance access. For small-format, high-volume lines, the SVX Duplex processes two film lanes in a single frame – each lane producing narrower bags (≈ 145 mm) but effectively doubling throughput without requiring two separate machines and doubling footprint.

Beyond throughput, the SVX excels in usability, cleanability, and changeover speed. It features hygienic stainless-steel construction, intuitive human-machine interfaces (HMI), preconfigured modular components, and fast size changeover systems to minimise downtime. The design anticipates increasing use of sustainable materials: the SVX is built to maintain seal integrity with thin, lightweight, and recyclable films while facilitating compatibility with future packaging innovations.

Support is integral: Syntegon backs the SVX with global service, preventive maintenance kits, remote diagnostics, training, spare part supply and modernisation options. This ensures that clients’ lines evolve in tandem with packaging trends.

In summary, the SVX series is not just another VFFS machine, it’s a future-proof packaging platform. It empowers producers to meet demanding production rates, adopt new materials, adjust to evolving bag formats, and maintain high operational efficiency – all in one scalable system.
