LTM-DUO Combiline – From the chocolate bar into the box on a compact combined line
The LTM-DUO Combiline sets new standards in the packaging of chocolate bars. Designed for maximum efficiency, flexibility and sustainability, it combines fold wrapping and cartoning in one compact, harmonized line — from the chocolate bar to the finished display carton.
At speeds of up to 215 chocolate tablets per minute, the system first wraps each product in a sealed inner wrap of foil or paper, followed by an outer wrap made of paper or cardboard. The compact CMW cartoning module, seamlessly integrated into the line, then produces up to 30 display cartons per minute. The result: premium packaging quality, perfect product protection and a space-saving footprint.
A shared control system and single HMI ensure that the entire line can be operated intuitively by just one operator. Thanks to rapid size changeovers and a safe restart, production flexibility is maximized while downtime is minimized. The system’s ergonomic design and full accessibility from one side make operation and maintenance exceptionally user-friendly. Moreover, only one hot melt gluing device is required for the entire line — reducing energy consumption, maintenance effort and spare part demand.
