Who’s Who – CEPI SpA

CEPI SpA takes its Italian engineering expertise worldwide, combining customised systems, turnkey support and export-led growth

In the second half of 2026, CEPI SpA’s industrial footprint charts a remarkably intensive global itinerary. Between September and November, the company, a leader since 1985 in designing and manufacturing storage, conveying and dosing systems for the food industry, will participate in six major international trade shows. This fast-paced tour spans Mumbai for Anuga FoodTec India, Jakarta for Allpack Indonesia, Stuttgart for südback, Parma for Cibus Tec, Dubai for Gulfood Manufacturing and Frankfurt for Fi Europe.

Taken together, this schedule is far more than a sequence of exhibition stops. It represents clear evidence of a distinctive business model. Whether powering production lines for snacks and pasta in Asia, managing fermentation processes for commercial baking in Europe or serving bakery segments in the Middle East, CEPI deploys the same core technological expertise across global markets, adapting it to create highly customised systems.

The CEPI Method across global markets

This widespread international reach is driven by the structured CEPI Method. Every project begins with an in-depth product and process analysis conducted in close collaboration with manufacturers. This step is crucial to ensuring that the same equipment operates with complete reliability in temperate European climates, tropical environments in Southeast Asia or arid desert conditions in the Gulf. From in-house mechanical and electronic engineering to UNI EN 1090 and ATEX compliance for hazardous atmospheres, CEPI guarantees strict regulatory adherence throughout every stage of development.

However, it is through turnkey logistics, direct installation and ongoing technical support that the model delivers its greatest value, effectively eliminating geographic barriers. CEPI manages international shipments by land, sea and air while handling complex customs documentation. Company specialists personally oversee assembly, testing and commissioning on site, ensuring that distance never compromises performance or reliability.

“Export is the very essence of CEPI and is fully aligned with the development model of Italian manufacturing. As with the broader industrial system, export drives growth, competitiveness and resilience. I firmly believe that exporting is not a destination; it is the primary road to take. We do not gamble on a single country – we have always worked with the world,” said Sandra Ceccarelli, CEO of CEPI SpA.

Turning regional expertise into global growth

The figures fully support this strategic direction, with CEPI generating approximately 72% of its revenue from international markets. This deep-rooted global focus seamlessly combines artisanal flexibility with world-class engineering, supply chain management and long-term customer support. By maintaining complete control over manufacturing and quality, the company translates its regional roots into a resilient international operation.

As Sales Director Igor Riccardi notes, the team is more than ready to turn every challenge into a new opportunity. In today’s dynamic global market, CEPI’s autumn trade fair programme underscores a vital truth: competing globally does not mean abandoning local roots; it means using them as a solid launch pad for international success.
