Welch’s unveiled its new, Zero Sugar Fruity Bites at Sweets & Snacks Expo which ran from 23-25 May in Chicago, Illinois, as the company presented its latest innovation from PIM Brands, makers of Welch’s Fruit Snacks.
The new Fruity Bites are chewy, delicious and 100% sugar free, according to the company, with 25% fewer calories than the original Fruit Snacks. They are also fat-free, gluten-free, aspartame-free and contain no preservatives.
As increasing numbers of consumers are looking for low and/or sugar-free products – with 4% greater consumers looking compared with a year ago according to FMCG Gurus – the zero sugar bites are designed to meet consumer preference for sugar-free snacks as the sugar-free snack market is growing.

Consumers can find Welch’s Zero Sugar Fruit Snacks at their favourite retailers and online at Amazon in mixed fruit, berries and cherries and island fruits varieties, retailing for US$3.99 for 3 ounce bags.
