Green packaging at Fachpack 2022

SACMI HY7

SACMI Packaging & Chocolate will be presenting its latest models of packaging machinery, wrapping machines and tray forming machinery in Nuremberg this year, at Fachpack 2022. Sustainable green packaging has been the “common thread” in all of these solutions.

Serving the entire central European market, the company is presenting its new series of horizontal flowpack packaging machines, which have applications ranging from chocolate to bakery, from snacks to biscuits.

With the JT ADVANCE which is marketed under the OPM brand, the machinery is characterised by its reduced operating costs and simplified maintenance. This allows for ease of management by the operator who has easy access to the machine from the front, with toolless adjustments thanks to quick-release connections that enable changeover.

The machine has been designed with sanitary design in mind, with specific measures such as the minimisation of crumb deposit points and protection equipped with support to facilitate the removal of processing residue.

It will also be exhibiting its new hybrid wrapping machine, the HY7, under the Carle & Montanari brand. As a hybrid wrapping machine, it has adaptive and versatile management of production flow thanks to its high performance and energy efficient servo drives. It also stands out for its “multi-style and multi material approach”, as it can process new, eco-friendly wrapping materials.

The HY7 is easy to manage and can reach high production speeds and output rates, set up to allow implementing new modules over time.

The company will also be exhibiting forming machines for boxes and trays as it will have on display the TF80 L, a high performance machine for forming small trays with extensive and diverse applications. The solution stands out for its versatile configuration – double chain movement and press with brushless motor – but also because it can reduce changeover times and ensure easy adaptability to trays of varying shapes and sizes.

Fachpack will be running from 27 to 29 September in Nuremberg this year, and SACMI can be visited at their stand Hall 1, 222.
