SACMI Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Andrea Grandi as its new General Manager, effective 1st January 2025.
A 49-year-old electronics engineer, Andrea Grandi has been a part of the SACMI team since 2001, amassing nearly 25 years of experience with the Group. Over the course of his career, Grandi has held increasingly significant positions and has been recognised for his exceptional technical and managerial expertise in mechatronics and industrial automation.
Grandi succeeds Mauro Fenzi, whose tenure concluded on 31st December 2024. Speaking about the appointment, SACMI President Paolo Mongardi emphasised that Grandi’s promotion reflects the Group’s commitment to harnessing internal talent, bolstering its technological leadership, and maintaining both strategic and operational continuity.
“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mauro Fenzi for his dedication and the remarkable results achieved during his time as General Manager,” stated Mongardi. “We also wish Andrea Grandi every success as he embarks on this new chapter of his professional journey.”
