In this latest Sweet Talk interview, we get to know Miranda Van Noorden, Brand Manager, Monty Bojangles 

What’s your go-to comfort food after a long day? 

I’ve got really into making pies lately. I think that this would be my go-to food – perfect for the cosy season! 

If you could invent a new dessert, what would it be called? 

I would have to say a Troufflé. This would be a luxurious and delicious mix between a soufflé and chocolatey truffles 

Are you more of a chocolate or fruit-flavoured person?  

Chocolate obviously! 

What’s the sweetest memory from your childhood? 

Big family holidays, so many lovely memories with my grandparents 

What’s one skill you’ve always wanted to learn but haven’t yet? 

I think I would like to learn how to do glass blowing, I’ve always wanted to give it a try. I might finally give it a go soon and make some Christmas baubles! 

If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be?
Oscar Wilde. I am sure he would have some witty and intellectual contributions to share, as well as bring some extravagance. 

Describe yourself in three words.
Creative, driven, energetic 

What’s your guilty pleasure snack?
Sausage rolls

What’s your favourite way to spend a Sunday afternoon?
I collect business cards and tickets from everywhere I go, so I often like to scrapbook in front of a movie on Sundays.

What was your favourite holiday and why?
I’ll never forget my first trip to Thailand when I was 17. This really sparks my love of travel and immersing myself in different cultures.
