Anuga FoodTec India 2026 has opened its doors in Mumbai, bringing together food and beverage technology suppliers from around the world for three days of processing, packaging and manufacturing innovation.

Running from 29 September to 1 October at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, the event provides confectionery manufacturers with access to equipment, technologies and services spanning production, filling, forming, cooling, packaging, inspection, automation and intralogistics.

The exhibition is being held alongside Anuga Select India, creating a combined platform for food manufacturers, technology providers, ingredient specialists and brand owners operating across the Indian and international markets.

Technology for confectionery production

For confectionery producers, the show provides an opportunity to explore developments in chocolate and sweet processing, alongside broader technologies that can be applied across confectionery manufacturing environments.

Exhibitors cover areas including mixing and processing systems, temperature control, depositing and forming, packaging machinery, robotics, inspection equipment and production automation. Solutions supporting greater production efficiency, flexibility and product consistency are also expected to feature prominently across the exhibition floor.

Packaging remains another important focus, with suppliers presenting technologies designed for primary and secondary confectionery packaging, alongside systems intended to improve line speeds, reduce material use and support changing pack formats.

The event also offers manufacturers the opportunity to discuss new production requirements directly with machinery and technology suppliers, evaluate equipment and explore ways to integrate individual systems into complete processing and packaging lines.

Supporting a growing market

India continues to develop as an important market for confectionery manufacturing, with demand for higher production capacity, greater automation and increasingly sophisticated product formats helping to drive investment in processing technology.

Anuga FoodTec India is positioned as a meeting point for companies looking to respond to these changes, bringing international technology expertise together with manufacturers from India and the wider region.

Alongside the exhibition, the event provides networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities focused on manufacturing trends, food safety, sustainability, digitalisation and production efficiency.

Anuga FoodTec India 2026 runs from 29 September to 1 October at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai.
