In an announcement today, it has been officially confirmed that two popular snack brands, Oreo and Sour Patch Kids, are joining forces for the creation of Oreo’s inaugural sour cookie.
The newly introduced Oreo Sour Patch Kids cookies bear a resemblance to the classic Oreo Golden Cookie, but with a twist of Sour Patch Kids flavour infused with vibrant inclusions. The filling features an abundance of multi-coloured sour sugar inclusions, resulting in a unique sweet and sour taste inspired by Sour Patch Kids.
These innovative Oreo Sour Patch Kids cookies are scheduled to hit the shelves at various retailers nationwide from May 6th onwards, marking their debut for a limited period.
In celebration of this unexpected collaboration, both Oreo and Sour Patch Kids will be launching an exclusive line of merchandise. Included in this collection is a matching crewneck and a pair of joggers, designed to complement each other and dubbed the “snack suit”.
Speaking about the partnership, a representative from Oreo stated, “We are thrilled to introduce this exciting twist to the Oreo family, bringing together the beloved flavours of Oreo and Sour Patch Kids in a deliciously playful way.”
