The Specialty and Fine Food Fair, which is being held in London this year, 5-6 September, will have a wide range of unique specialty confectionery products, including liquorice, nougat, honeycomb bites and dark chocolate cranberries.

Among the exhibitors will be Joypots, whose range of confectionery includes honeycomb bites, dark chocolate ginger and milk chocolate orange peel. More recently the company launched a new savoury nibbles range which includes vegan, vegetarian and gluten free varieties to offer consumers with a range of great flavours perfect for gifting, sharing or self-indulging.

Chocobel, which has been involved in independent trade for over 16 years, specialises in importation and distribution of liquorice, sugar free, no added sugar, sugar reduced, free from and vegan confectionery. Their comprehensive selection is made up of 1000 confectionery lines including around 300 different sugar free products.

Also part of the lineup is Ask Mummy & Daddy, which was first founded by Kane Dowell in 2017. The concept behind the company was his desire to create a range of premium, high-concept sweets ideal for giving as gift boxes. Having visited Hong Kong, the US and Australia, Kane was inspired by the flavours and packaging, and now creates confectionery in the UK in biodegradable or recyclable packaging.

Klepper & Klepper opened their first shop in 1990 in Alkmaar, the Netherlands and celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2015. Founder Klepper Sr. had the desire to create “the most delicious liquorice ever” and from that, created sweet liquorice with a hint of salmiak.

Specialty and Fine Food Fair is the home of fine food and drink for buyers across retail, hospitality, food service, manufacturing, import and export, and wholesale sectors. Over 700 fine food and drink suppliers will be exhibiting for over 10,000 members of this sector.
