M&M’S has announced two launches that will join the brand’s diverse portfolio – M&M’S Chocolate Bars and M&M’S Hazelnut Spread Chocolate Candies. The products will become permanent additions to the brand’s iconic line-up, marking some of the biggest innovations in M&M’S history.
M&M’S is introducing colourful fun to a new section of the chocolate aisle with the launch of M&M’S Chocolate Bars, available starting December 2018. M&M’S Chocolate Bars consist of smooth milk chocolate with whole M&M’S Minis visible throughout a large, moulded and shareable bar format. The distinctive, rich chocolate bars will be available nationwide in five flavour varieties: Peanut (3.9 oz.), Milk Chocolate (4.0 oz.), Crispy (3.8 oz.), Almond (3.9 oz.) and Crispy Mint (3.8 oz.).
With the second new product, M&M’S brings a beloved flavour into its classic colourful candy-coated shells. M&M’S Hazelnut Spread Chocolate Candies feature a hazelnut spread centre, covered in delicious milk chocolate, offering a delectable and trend-forward combination of chocolate and hazelnut flavours in every bite-sized piece.
M&M’S Hazelnut Spread Chocolate Candies will be available nationwide beginning April 2019 in an eye-catching teal bag, in Singles (1.35 oz.), Share Size (2.53 oz.) and Sharing Size Stand Up Pouch (8.3 oz.).
“The industry is changing and consumer tastes are evolving. We’re continuing to recognize and anticipate demand. We’re excited to debut M&M’S Chocolate Bars and know that our M&M’S fans and chocolate bar lovers alike will appreciate the delicious taste that comes from our rich and creamy chocolate,” said Allison Miazga-Bedrick, senior brand director, M&M’S Brand.
“We’re equally passionate for the launch of M&M’S Hazelnut Spread Chocolate Candies next year. We’re thrilled to deliver this new flavour with colour and fun, in a way that only M&M’S can.”
M&M’S Chocolate Bars and M&M’S Hazelnut Spread Chocolate Candies will join other recent additions to the brand’s portfolio including M&M’S Crunchy Mint, M&M’S White Chocolate, M&M’S White Chocolate Peanut and M&M’S Caramel.
