interpack will highlight Cama’s company evolution

Cama Group will be utilising this year’s interpack to highlight the company’s evolution over the last six years, it has said, as it has enjoyed strong growth and invested heavily into R&D, creating high-tech packaging solutions for multiple industries.

Central to the company’s stand is a turnkey, robotised naked chocolate packaging line which was developed for a large US confectionery brand. Visitors to interpack can expect to see a partnership between mechanical design and digital automation infrastructure, which can handle 14 different packaging formats and rapid changeover between them.

The company’s specialists will also be on hand to highlight to visitors things they can’t see, such as the machine’s Industry 4.0 infrastructure; RFID-managed part changeovers; comprehensive AR capabilities and a line-supervision and data-collection system for machine learning and analytics.

The company’s AR capabilities will be the subject of a separate display area where specialists will take visitors on a journey through a variety of machines and packaging technologies.

Cama will also showcase a wide array of packaging styles, types and materials for industries across the entire food, beverage, home and health and pet food sectors.

“We never slowed down during the pandemic and Interpack 2023 will show the fruits of all our hard work,” explained Alessandro Rocca, Group Sales Director at Cama. “Our AR solution has proved immensely popular on both existing and new-build machines, and the line supervisor solution on the showcased machine is illustrative of our next evolution, which will see us leveraging machine data and AI to extract every possible percentage point of efficiency out of our solutions.

“We have so much to exhibit this year and next year we may need an even bigger stand. I personally cannot wait to show off our sustainable solutions and expanded capabilities and then showcase how we have solved so many customer challenges over the last six years. We look forward to meeting everyone there.”
