Who’s Who – Hans Brunner

Brunnerwebsite

At Hans Brunner we are proud to be a successful manufacturer of moulds for chocolates, bars, lollies and hollow figures. Since 1935 international confectionery companies, mid-sized chocolatiers and patisseries have been using our moulds to develop their ideas into successful chocolate products.

Development and production with approx. 120 specialists at a single location guarantees a trouble-free product development process. With decades of experience and the most modern and sustainable manufacturing processes, Hans Brunner develops process-oriented solutions for you from high-quality materials. We make the very highest quality demands of our products.

Our international sales team advises and supports you as a customer from the initial idea to the finished mould set.

Your idea is the starting point for the development of the article. We use sketches to show you how your product can be created as a chocolate article. After you have made your selection you will receive 3D drawings from us, which you as the customer can use to check the volume, dimensions and design. During this project phase, close consultation between the customer and our article development department is very important, whether by phone, in person or via an online meeting.

After receiving approval of the 3D sketch, a single cavity sample is produced. With this single cavity sample made of high-quality polycarbonate, perfect chocolate articles can be produced, which in turn can then be checked for weight, size and design. As soon as this single sample is approved, the construction of the mould can begin.

In the next step the complete polycarbonate mould is constructed. Here, too, we are in close consultation with you as the customer and, if necessary, with the manufacturer of your equipment, as the moulds have to meet specific requirements of every machine. Since we have been producing chocolate moulds for many decades, we know about the special features of all standard systems.

Once the mould drawing has been created and checked and approved by you, the customer, we create the tool in our state-of-the-art, high-precision milling centres. The high degree of automation in our toolmaking guarantees repeatable die production, so that later one item looks exactly like the other. The other tool components are also perfectly designed.

As soon as the mould tool has been completed, a sample mould is produced with it on our specially equipped injection moulding machines or thermo presses. We send the sample mould or even the sample series to you for testing and approval, after which the entire series can be produced.

Since every stage of the process takes place at our location in Glonn, corrections and fine-tuning can be carried out without delay. Our specialist departments coordinate directly with each other. This enables us to meet our deadlines.

In addition, we can fulfil extremely tight deadlines or solve unforeseen emergencies for our customers. Our high degree of automation and the flexibility of our team also support this.

If you too would like to talk to us about your next project, we look forward to hearing from you! You can meet us in person at the following trade fairs this year at Fipan in São Paulo, Südback in Stuttgart, Gulfood Manufacturing in Dubai and Chocotech in Cologne. See you all there!
