At CFIA Expo running from 12-14 March in Rennes, France, adapa Group will be providing a comprehensive insight into its product portfolio, including flexible packaging solutions of all types.
At the trade fair for the agri-food industry, adapa will showcase solutions for modern shrink and skin films, thermoforming solutions and flowpacks for fresh produce, confectionery, coffee and tea.
A central part of the company’s showcase will be film solutions that help users toi conserve resources. The ‘Design for Recycling’ concepts, which were developed as part of the company-wide rethink initiative, enable its customers to replace existing packaging solutions with more forward-thinking alternatives.
The company’s range of ‘Design for Recycling’ tubular bag films, MonoFlow(re) E-type and P-type are going to be on show. They’re designed to maximise efficiency and recyclability. adapa’s flowpacks are also optimised for demanding product such as coffee, and can be run at up to 120 cycles on a wide range of standard packaging lines.
The new paper-based twist wrap from adapa, meanwhile, presents a modern version of confectionery packaging. Suitable for single or double twist and folding applications, it can be processed on a wide range of twist wrapping machines; from standard systems to high performance.
In high performance twist and wrap packaging machines, it can achieve speeds of up to 23000 pieces per minute. The PaperTwister(re) range has a paper content of up to 90% with a plant-based coating.
The company will also showcase its solutions for customers with modern digital printing, enabling high-quality printing on a wide range of materials, from flexible films to paper, with various finishing options.
Digital printing is also cost-effective and offers maximum flexibility, as the technology does not require clichés or cylinders. This shortens delivery times, makes digital printing the ideal solution for short-term requirements and enables cost-effective production of very short runs, such as of promotional or seasonal items.
All new developments at adapa are supported by an experienced team of application engineers.
