Machine innovation at the WDS booth
Winkler und Dünnebier Süßwarenmaschinen GmbH is renowned in the industry for its continuous innovation and enhancement of established confectionery machinery. At this year’s ProSweets, WDS will unveil the MogulPRO, a new machine concept. Highlights include detailed information about the plant, live demonstrations at the exhibition stand and opportunities for prompt visits to WDS to view the new plant.
In addition to this development, WDS will also showcase the versatility of its plant range. From the laboratory scale to the large-scale plant, WDS offers confectionery machines for all capacity and manufacturing requirements.
Mogul plants: For most customers, WDS mogul plants are the top choice for producing jellies, fondant and toffee. WDS has extensive experience in manufacturing gum and jelly products (based on pectin, gum arabic, gelatine, agar-agar and carrageenan) as well as liquorice, fondant, cream, foam (marshmallow) and similar masses. A core competence lies in depositing centre-filled products, such as those with a fruit paste filling.
Starchless plants: For several years, starchless production technology has been successfully used for making toffees, fondant, as well as gum and jelly products. With the rapidly growing market for OTC jellies, which requires high standards in hygienic production facilities, WDS has developed a new approach to moulding processes. Depending on the preferred production method and mass requests, products can be made without starch in silicone or aluminium moulds, or in hygienic polycarbonate moulds. The development of modern, clean and highly efficient plant technology for fruit gum production, rooted in chocolate moulding, has now proven its effectiveness.
Chocolate: WDS serves businesses of all sizes, offering production capacities from 200 kg/h to 7000 kg/h. The ConfecECO line is the entry-level system for producing smooth, centre-filled bars, pralines and tablets as well as for depositing masses with additives. The ConfecPRO is a chocolate production plant for confectionery manufacturers who are striving to achieve medium to high production volumes. Its modular design, combined with the decentralised electrical control system, guarantees simple, growth-oriented extension at minimal cost. Product shape, filling and colour can be customised with great flexibility to meet customer specifications – from simple tablets with delicious ingredients to intricate, multi-filled pralines.
