Vegans rejoice! Jammie Dodger has returned its vegan-friendly status to further its products inclusivity for all consumers
Beloved British biscuit Jammie Dodgers has today announced a recipe change that will mean its iconic jam-filled snack is 100% plant-based. Vegans rejoice!
Vegans were heartbroken when dairy was added to the biscuit some years ago. Feeling bad that some people couldn’t eat the mischievous Jammie treat, and noting heartbroken fans only ruining their brew with their salty tears, Jammie Dodgers has answered their prayers and updated the recipe once again, saving millions of vegan taste buds from the tedious, limited selection of vegan-friendly biscuits.
For Jammie Dodgers fans, the reformulation has been a long-time coming. It is being regarded as a very welcome move, especially as many other biscuits-makers continue to incorporate milk in their products, making it hard for people with specific dietary requirements to find a suitably fun snack. Now that’s not very nice, is it?
The new plant-based Jammie Dodgers can be tracked down by vegans and meat-eaters alike, in all the jammiest stores across the country from w/c 13th July onwards, and identified by a new eye-catching design for the brand. Biscuit fans should keep their peepers peeled for a darker coloured packet design and logo glow-up (that’s a fancy marketing term to you and me), to spot the all-new, dairy-free treats.
