Paradise Fruits by Jahncke, the global supplier of naturally healthy and delicious food ingredients, is set to showcase a wide range of innovative new products at BioFach 2020, the worlds leading trade fair for organic food.
During the four-day event, which takes place in Nuremburg, Germany, from February 12-15, the company behind four of Europe’s most innovative fruit and vegetable processing businesses, will exhibit products from its Solutions and Freeze Dried divisions, including new Smoothee Drops.
Smoothee Drops from Paradise Fruits Freeze Dried are an innovative range of naturally healthy fruit-based snacks. The Drops are made from organic pure fruits using a gentle, low temperature production process which preserves their natural goodness and can be supplied as single fruits or in combination with yoghurt, vegetables or added sugar. Increasing the products functionality and health benefits, the Drops can also be fortified with Vitamins, Omega-3 and Proteins.
Kurt Jahncke, CEO of Paradise Fruits, commented: “As organic fruits and vegetables that contain essential vitamins and micronutrients become more appealing to consumers, retailers are always looking for the next big thing to meet this demand. Our Smoothee Drops are the ideal solution and provide a simple, naturally healthy and delicious snack containing functional and flavoursome ingredients.”
During the event, Paradise Fruits Freeze Dried will also demonstrate its Crunchy range of granulates, which are manufactured through a specially adapted freeze-drying process that allows customers the option of a one component recipe made of 100% fruit, or a combination with yoghurt or additional carriers. The Crunchy range is available in bespoke shapes and cut into sizes, ranging from 1mm to 10mm, making them ideal for use in sweets, confectionery and baked goods, as well as other applications.
Visitors will also be given the opportunity to visit the Paradise Fruits tasting wall to sample a selection of Freeze Dried natural organic whole fruits and vegetables, alongside a new range of Eastern- inspired products from Paradise Fruits Solutions.
‘Taste of the East’ by Paradise Fruits Solutions takes its inspiration from Japan and meets a growing trend for Eastern flavours. The range is available in a variety of flavours including Mandarin & Yuzu, Lychee & Raspberry, Apple & Green Tea, Lime & Matcha Tea and Ginger & Plum, as well as bespoke combinations which can be developed to suit customer requirements.
Taste of the East is also offered in a number of formats including Paradise Fruits’ unique irregular cut granulates, standard granulates, fruit pastes, juice drops and standard and bespoke shapes; all suitable for a variety of applications from baked goods to chocolates and snacks.
Kurt Jahncke added: “Our Crunchy range is developed from 100% organic, freeze dried fruits, which can be combined with vegetables, herbs and spices. They are the natural choice for manufacturers looking for a lightweight, nutritious and delicious ingredient to add flavour, colour and texture to their products. Our Taste of the East range however, provides food manufacturers with an opportunity to get a head start in developing exciting new products as the trend towards Eastern flavours increases, particularly in the run up to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.”
