Kitkat brings hazelnut variation from Australia to UK

This latest addition to the KitKat family has been spotted on shelves at Sainsbury’s and is already creating a buzz among snack enthusiasts. The Hazelnut KitKat features the signature four crispy wafer fingers, enveloped in smooth hazelnut milk chocolate, retailing for just 85p.

The Hazelnut KitKat joins a roster of classic flavours available in the UK, including white chocolate, orange, dark mint, and cookies and cream. Additionally, KitKat Chunky varieties such as peanut butter, double chocolate, and white chocolate continue to be fan favourites.

This time last year, Nestlé delighted dark chocolate lovers by reintroducing the KitKat 70% Dark Chocolate Bar with a revamped recipe. Meanwhile, the White Chocolate and Biscoff KitKat Chunky made a limited return, much to the delight of shoppers.

Other recent KitKat launches have included the Mint Cookies and Cream KitKat, which appeared at B&M stores in 2023 after previously being exclusive to Australia.

Nestlé isn’t the only brand treating chocolate fans to new creations. At the end of 2024, Cadbury unveiled the Twirl Breakaway Cookie Dough Bar, described by shoppers as “pure bliss.” This innovation featured layers of crunchy biscuit and chewy cookie dough, coated in Cadbury’s iconic milk chocolate.

Meanwhile, Rowntree’s launched the Jellytastic Mini Egg Bar, blending fruit-flavoured jelly pieces with smooth chocolate, and B&M wowed shoppers with an ultra-rare Pink Lemonade Cadbury Bar and an Aero Milky Bar, combining Aero’s bubbly texture with Milky Bar’s creamy white chocolate.
