Grow a Mo: Dexters launches Movember competition

Confectionery brand, Dexters, is encouraging men and women across the UK to ‘grow a mo’ for its Movember competition next month.

Whether it’s made out of paper, sweets or a real-life moustache, entrants can take a picture of their weird and wacky moustaches, uploading the images to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #DextersMovember.

Dexters will award the winner with a £100 voucher of their choice and will also donate £100 to the Movember foundation.

Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer and men’s suicide.

Stuart Johnston, Managing Director of Kervan Gida, commented: “The shape or size of your mo really doesn’t matter this Movember, and it certainly doesn’t matter what your moustache is made from.

“We’re looking forward to seeing all sorts of moustaches to help raise awareness of this incredibly important cause, so please do get involved this Movember and astonish us with your most impressive and creative mo.”

The competition runs until Friday 20 November and the winner will be announced on Monday 3 December.
