Sigep 2025 promotes pizza and gelato more than ever

The 46th edition of Sigep, the premier Italian ice cream show renowned worldwide, will take place at the Rimini Expo Centre from 18 to 22 January 2025. This year, the event promises an even more expansive and diversified experience under its new theme: “Sigep World – The World Expo for Foodservice Excellence.”

In addition to its traditional focus on Italian ice cream, Sigep 2025 will highlight innovations across four other key sectors: pastry, chocolate, coffee, and bakery. Notably, this edition will feature an enlarged space dedicated to the pizza industry, a sector that has an impressive global market value exceeding $153 billion, according to Verified Markets Reports.

The upcoming event is set to benefit from the recent expansion of the Rimini Expo Centre, which now includes two new pavilions. This development increases the total exhibit area to over 140,000 square metres, allowing for a more comprehensive display of the latest foodservice technologies and premium ingredients.

Sigep, organised by the Italian Exhibition Group, aims to solidify its international reach. This ambition is reflected in its new branding and the addition of satellite trade shows in promising markets such as southern China and Singapore. These efforts underscore the global appeal of the Rimini event, which last year attracted visitors from 160 countries and showcased 1,200 brands from 35 nations. Moreover, the 2024 edition facilitated over 5,200 business meetings and hosted more than 500 buyers from 84 countries, illustrating its pivotal role in the foodservice industry.

With its enhanced focus on a diverse range of culinary disciplines and a significant expansion in exhibit space, Sigep 2025 is poised to be an unmissable event for professionals in the foodservice sector. The fair promises to offer an unparalleled platform for networking, innovation, and business opportunities on a global scale.
