Paradise fruits announces plans for a fruitful FIE 2021

Paradise Fruits by Jahncke, the global supplier of delicious food ingredients, has announced it will be exhibiting a wide range of ‘fruity, yummy and healthy’ snacks and inclusions from across the company’s five divisions at Fi Europe (FIE) 2021.

Taking place in Frankfurt, Germany from 30th November to 2nd December, FIE is Europe’s leading annual event for stakeholders in the food ingredients industry, which welcomes more than 17,000 visitors and 700 exhibitors from across the sector.

During the show, Paradise Fruits’ new Health division will showcase its range of vitamin- infused Shapes, which are designed specifically to provide food supplements carried by a plant-based matrix that can be called ‘functional confectionery’.

The recipes for the gelatine-free Shapes contain a higher fruit content than many other similar products available on the market and can be fortified with vitamins and minerals, as well as other ingredients, such as caffeine, creatine, or extracts. The range is available in three categories, Vitamins/Minerals, Probiotics and Botanicals, as well as a variety of bespoke fruit and vegetable flavouring combinations.

Paradise Fruits Solutions will also take part in the event by demonstrating its new range of allergen-free, nut flavoured granulates and pastes alongside its popular selection of High Fibre Low Sugar products.

The new allergen-free nut flavoured granulates and high brix pastes are available in a variety of standard flavours including, Peanut, Peanut Caramel, Walnut, Hazelnut, Pecan, Pistachio, Almond and Peanut-Chocolate. The range has major advantages in that it offers a natural, authentic nut taste and aroma, but without the associated allergens.

The Fruit First, High Fibre Low Sugar recipe is available as single or mixed fruit granulates, pastes, drops and shapes and provides less than 40% sugar (naturally occurring) than standard fruit ingredients and more than 40g of fibre per 100g.

Bodo Mittmann, Chief Sales Officer at Paradise Fruits Health and Solutions said: “Products that provide nutritional benefits, without having to compromise on taste and texture and where possible that cater to special dietary requirements are proving popular with consumers. With our range of vitamin-infused Shapes and inclusions alongside our High Fibre and allergen-free granulates and pastes, we are well equipped to support manufacturers in developing new products that appeal to these health-conscious shoppers and we are looking forward to demonstrating this at FIE.”

During the three-day event, Paradise Fruit’s Freeze Dried will also exhibit with a variety of versatile ingredients including its Smoothee Powders. The products can be supplied as single fruits, fruit blends or in combination with vegetables. To increase the products functionality and health benefits, the range can also be fortified with Vitamins, Omega-3 and Proteins.

The Smoothee Powders are made from freshly harvested ingredients and consist of 100% fruit and vegetables. Prepared as a drink, they can replace part of the daily recommended fruit and vegetable intake. Paradise Fruits Freeze Dried not only offers already carefully developed and flavoured blends, but also the possibility to create bespoke recipes to suit individual customer requirements.

In addition, Paradise Garden will also showcase a variety of natural freeze-dried savoury products including herbs, spices and vegetables, all suitable for a range of long-life foods such as soups, sauces and instant meals to add flavour, aroma and natural visual appeal. Meanwhile, Paradise Fruits Frozen is aiming to delight the senses of visitors with its range of IQF fruit pearl.

All products manufactured by Paradise Fruits by Jahncke are free from artificial colours and preservatives, are EU-allergen-free, palm oil-free possible, halal and kosher possible, gluten-free and can be developed so that they are suitable for vegetarian or vegan diets.
