Andreas Denker has been appointed the new CEO of NETZSCH Pumps & Systems effective as of 1 April, 2023. After a transition phase with the current CEO Felix Kleinert, Denker will take over the management of the global Pumps & Systems business unit in mid-May 2023.
At the same time, Denker will become a member of the global management team of the NETZSCH Group. Kleinert, who has led the business unit as CEO since 1999, will retire on 30 June 2023 after spending 24 years with the company.
Denker has 20 years of management experience with him in international technology companies including Airbus, Diehl, Mannesmann and Dürr. More recently, he served as CEO of the Manaseer Group in Jordan where he turned the regionally active company into an export-focused group of companies.
In his new role, Denker will further develop the strategy of the business unit, where the focus is on ensuring success through the targeted expansion of the global production and sales network, the expansion of the product portfolio and development of new digital solutions in the field of fluid management.
“With Andreas Denker, we are gaining an outstanding leader and technically accomplished CEO. His competencies, international experience and personality are an ideal fit for NETZSCH and perfectly complement the global management team. He is the ideal successor to Felix Kleinert, under whose leadership the further strategic direction of the business unit has yet to be determined,” explained Moritz Netzsch, Member of the Executive Board, NETZSCH Group.
“The conditions for further growth are ideal. The strategic positioning of the Pumps & Systems business unit as a holistic solution provider for the management of complex fluids has taken place and we are already perceived as such in the market,” Moritz added.
The company extends its thanks to Kleinert who built the company into a global player in the pump industry and after 24 years, is handing his responsibilities over to Denker and retiring.
