Fi Europe 2024 poised to be largest event yet for food and beverage ingredients industry

Fi Europe is preparing for its most significant edition to date, set to take place from 19th to 21st November 2024 at Messe Frankfurt. As the leading global event for food and beverage ingredients, Fi Europe 2024 promises to be a landmark occasion, featuring more than 1,500 exhibitors and a comprehensive programme of expert presentations. The event will serve as a hub for innovation, industry insights, and business networking, drawing over 25,000 visitors from 135 countries. Among the exhibitors are industry heavyweights such as ABF Ingredients Group, Azelis, Brenntag Holding GmbH, Cargill, Fonterra, and Prinova.

This year’s event will see the introduction of several new features. The main show arena will encompass the full spectrum of food and beverage ingredients, including, for the first time, a Petfood Suppliers Hub. This new area will allow visitors to explore the latest advancements in ingredients and technologies for pet nutrition. Additionally, the Health Ingredients Area will spotlight functional food and beverage ingredients with demonstrated health benefits. Meanwhile, the expanded Food Manufacturing Technologies & Solutions Area will provide a one-stop destination for businesses looking to optimise their supply chain and future-proof their operations, from research and development to delivery.

Fi Europe has established itself as a vital platform for facilitating business partnerships that lead to successful product development. Alongside the expansive exhibition halls, which offer a prime opportunity to connect with top industry professionals, the Exhibitor Showcases will provide innovators a stage to present their unique ideas. Visitors can also gain free access to the Innovation Hub, which will feature a dynamic programme of presentations and discussions on a range of industry opportunities. Furthermore, all visitor passes include complimentary entry to the two-day Fi Europe Conference, taking place on 19th and 20th November. The conference will feature a series of expert-led sessions focusing on solutions for current industry challenges and exploring immediate opportunities in R&D and product development.

“We’re excited to be back in Frankfurt for Fi Europe 2024,” said Yannick Verry, Brand Director, Food ingredients Europe & Americas. “The event has been growing and evolving with the needs of the F&B ingredients industry, and we’re constantly looking for new ways to offer a bigger and better platform for our exhibitors and visitors to connect. This year we have some great additions alongside our tried and trusted favourites that make the event even more unmissable than before.”

A day before the main event opens, exclusive insights will be shared at The Future of Nutrition Summit, held on 18th November at the Mövenpick Hotel Frankfurt City. With a delegate pass, attendees can gain access to this special event, where industry leaders and visionaries will deliver presentations and lead discussions on future trends in health and nutrition. Key topics will include ‘Food As Medicine,’ ‘AI and Food,’ and ‘Sustainable Solutions.’

Sustainability will be a key theme throughout Fi Europe 2024. “Our partnership with international civil society organisation Solidaridad is part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability,” said Yannick Verry. “Throughout our Fi Europe features and content, we will highlight sustainable sourcing, transparency, regulatory compliance, and more.”

Fi Europe will also bring back its popular data-driven matchmaking and The Women’s Networking Breakfast, ensuring unmatched networking opportunities. To help attendees plan their visit, book meetings, and optimise their time, the Fi Europe event platform is now available online.

“Visitors and exhibitors can log into the event platform at any time,” added Yannick Verry. “They can browse products and suppliers and use our AI-driven matchmaking tool to connect with potential business partners. We’ve designed it to make planning easier for everyone before the event, and we can’t wait for our F&B community to experience Fi Europe in person.”

With these new additions and a focus on sustainability, innovation, and networking, Fi Europe 2024 is set to be an essential event for professionals in the food and beverage ingredients industry.
