The Duni Group has been awarded the bronze medal in the Food Service/Food-on-the-Go category for its full fibre packaging range, Bagasse, at the Environmental Packaging Awards. This recognition, garnered at yesterday’s ceremony in London, highlights Duni Group’s commitment to innovative and sustainable packaging solutions.
In addition to its bronze medal, the Duni Group was also one of two finalists in the Soft Drinks category with its Breeze cups. These accolades underscore the company’s influential role in the industry and its dedication to environmental sustainability.
Nominated in several categories earlier this year, Duni Group’s achievement in the Food Service/Food-on-the-Go category comes amid stiff competition from other leading companies. The recognition reflects the company’s ongoing efforts to develop and promote sustainable packaging solutions.
“We are proud of our great team that, together with our customers, develops excellent and innovative food packaging solutions. It’s not just about creating more sustainable products; it’s about being a forerunner in driving new standards in the industry,” said Nicklas Lauwell, Executive Vice President of Food Packaging Solutions at Duni Group.
The Environmental Packaging Awards celebrate leading innovations and key players in the sustainable packaging sector within the UK. The judging process emphasises a profound understanding of the environmental impact of packaging while recognising its essential role in content protection. The awards presented aim to honour the brightest minds in the packaging industry.
