Caobisco announces new leadership team for European confectionery industry

Caobisco’s new leadership for European chocolate, biscuits, and confectionery includes Can Buharali of Mondelēz International as president, with Aldo Cristiano of Ferrero and Tobias Bachmüller from Katjes Fassin as vice presidents. This team will lead for two years, focusing on EU sugar supply policy reform, global trading, and new deforestation regulations. Caobisco will keynote the World Confectionery Conference on 12 September, addressing supply chain disruptions and inflation. Representing over 14,000 businesses, Caobisco influences legislative policy and promotes responsible confectionery enjoyment. Buharali, previously a senior director at Mondelez and a diplomat, aims to build on Aldo Cristiano’s contributions as outgoing president.
