Blommer Chocolate is pleased to announce a few new organizational changes to better serve our customers. David Meggs will move into the Chief Operating Officer role, leading the commercial team (Sales, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain) in addition to Operations of our four North American production facilities. This move will allow us to more closely align our commercial growth strategy with the supply side of the business. David joined Blommer in 2017 and has an extensive background in the food industry in various sales, business development, and engineering roles.
As part of this change, we are promoting Colleen Ness to VP Sales & Marketing. Colleen also joined in 2017 and brings a strong background of leadership roles in sales and customer focused activities. Until recently, Colleen has served as Director of Sales for the Midwest region in addition to leading our marketing activities. We will be hiring Colleen’s replacement in the Midwest as she takes on a larger role. Lastly, we have promoted Melissa Tisoncik to VP of Research & Development & QA. Melissa has over 10 years of experience within Blommer and is a wealth of information for all things chocolate. Melissa will now take on responsibility for our Quality Assurance and Regulatory activities within the company.
