BCH Kicks Off 2025 with Global Success and Innovation

With the spotlight on the Dynamic Mixer 6 (DMS 6), BCH continues to push the boundaries of efficiency, flexibility, and product quality in confectionery manufacturing

BCH, a global leader in confectionery processing solutions, has had a successful start to 2025, securing several international orders. The team have just completed their first trade show of the year, Prosweets, Cologne, where they showcased their energy-efficient and hygienic solutions for the confectionery production sector.

BCH’s presence at Prosweets provided an ideal platform to demonstrate its excellence in the confectionery and bakery sectors. The main attraction was the Dynamic Mixer 6 (DMS 6), the latest innovation in BCH’s liquorice production machinery. This system allows for the precise addition of up to six colours and flavours to a liquorice product, offering flexibility and control over the final product. The DMS 6 facilitates rapid colour changes while eliminating the risk of cross-contamination between flavours and colours, guaranteeing consistent and uniform streams for a better quality liquorice product. This control over colour and flavour allows manufacturers to create exciting new product variations and respond quickly to market trends.

“Prosweets was a resounding success for BCH,” commented Stuart Grogan, Operations Director. “The DMS 6 generated considerable interest, sparking discussions with confectionery producers eager to explore how this technology could improve their production processes and open up new product development opportunities. Visitors were particularly impressed with the speed and flexibility of the system, and its potential to reduce downtime and improve product quality.”

With a history spanning nearly two centuries, BCH has earned a global reputation as a premier manufacturer of confectionery processing equipment. This reputation is built on a foundation of bespoke solutions, comprehensive after-sales support, and in-house manufacturing, ensuring quality and performance at every stage. BCH’s commitment to innovation is reflected in the design of its systems, which prioritise quick start-up times, hygienic operation, and cost-effectiveness – representing a long-term investment for businesses. Their team of expert engineers work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and develop tailored solutions that maximise productivity and profitability.

Following their Prosweets success, BCH will be exhibiting at Propak Africa from 11th- 14th March 2025 at the Johannesburg Exhibition Centre. BCH will exhibit alongside South African agents Courlanders in Hall 6, Stand H10. As South Africa’s premier trade show, it is an amazing opportunity for BCH to delve into the African market. This presents a fantastic opportunity for attendees to experience BCH’s advanced processing solutions firsthand and discover how they can enhance their own manufacturing operations. The BCH team will be on hand to discuss specific requirements.
